One of the biggest pain points in the service repair business is the communication between a shop and a potential employee. Automotive Technicians, Diesel Technicians, Machinery Technicians and Mechanics of all types struggle to connect with shop management. We find that most times the barrier doesn’t come from the lack of wanting to make a change but the intimidation factor that comes with looking for a new job.
At Find A Wrench, our job is to offer tools that make the relationship between shop and Mechanic easier. As you browse through our site, you’ll see a number of different tools aimed at doing just that.
Our first tool that comes in handy is our job board. You can find this by scrolling to the top of the home page. You simply click on the Job Board link and it will guide you from there. For example, if you’re an Automotive Technician looking for a job in your geographic region, you’ll simply type in Automotive Technician in the search bar and the geographic location in which you’re looking for work. If you’re an employer, it’s very simple as well. Click on the “For Shops” link at the top of the page and have the job board link guide you through the process. If you ever get stuck and need help, feel free to contact us using the info on the “Contact” page.
While the job board is the most interactive of our tools, we highly recommend that you explore the site. If you’re an Automotive or Diesel Technician, be sure to go check out the “For Techs” page. As mentioned before, Dealerships and Repair Shops should head to the “For Shops” page.
Lastly, this business is our passion. We’ve got a mission to not only make placements but to try and improve our industry as a whole. You can keep up with our thoughts, learn from our mistakes and hear some of our stories by checking out our blog.
We hope you enjoy the site and that it helps you reach your goals. We enjoy the automotive, diesel and machinery repair business and would love to help out wherever we can. Best of luck and feel free to contact us if you need anything!
