Chevrolet was not always part of General Motors. Thanks to “Billy” Durant who acquired Chevrolet in May of 1918. This Marked an Important step in GM history as well as for Chevrolet. General Motors had acquired a few other recognizable names at this point. Do you know what was under the General Motors umbrella of companies?
